Caitlen’s passion for sport, health and fitness lead to an interest and love for Health Sciences and Podiatry. Caitlen is driving to positively influence the lives of others by keeping them performing the activities they love.
Caitlen has an undergraduate degree (Bachelor of Health Sciences) and a Masters of Podiatry Practice. Caitlen continues to develop her professional skill set including post graduate studies in dry needling, foot mobilisation and Extracorporeal Shockwave Therapy to help with heel pain. Caitlen has also spent time in Scotland as part of the National Health Service (NHS).
Originally from the Mornington Peninsula, Caitlen’s involvement in an array of sports and outdoor activities has influenced her passion for sports podiatry and enabled personal experience in the management of sports related injuries as well as biomechanical alignment and orthotic therapy.
Caitlen is also passionate about paediatric podiatry. Though early intervention, Caitlen works closely with parents and children to ensure optimal development and discuss any concerns parents may have including walking patterns and development, in-toeing, toe walking, and appropriate footwear advice.
When not practicing, Caitlen loves to spend time outdoors including going to the beach, diving, running and up in the mountains either hiking or skiing.
Caitlen is an active member of Australasian Academy of Podiatric Sports Medicine, Sports Medicine Australia, Diabetes Australia, Australian Podiatry Association (Vic.).
