Meet Local Podiatrist Tom Cleary

Tom was drawn to Podiatry as a career due to the broad scope of practise available to help a client become active, healthy and happy. Tom grew up in the Albury/Wodonga region before moving to Melbourne to complete his Masters of Podiatric Practise at La Trobe University. Following this he has moved down to the Surfcoast area of Geelong to join our team at Profeet Podiatry.Tom enjoys being physically active through a variety of sports, gym sessions and other outdoor activities. This guides his interest in sports injuries, gait analysis, tendinopathies, arthritis, post surgical rehabilitation and other musculoskeletal complications. Common treatment options that Tom utilises include exercise prescription, footwear management, orthotic fitting, shockwave therapy, joint mobilisation and skin/nail care. Tom prides himself on being able to develop strong and trusting relationships between himself and his clients, so that shared decision making can lead to useful and suitable outcomes unique to his clients needs.
