Onychomycosis (fungal infection of the nail) is a common condition, which results in a change to the appearance and health of a nail. Typically the nail with appear yellow, and there will be an increase in debris underneath the nail. Tinea Pedis infection (fungal infection of skin on feet), will commonly developed in the web spaces between your toes. The environment between your toes is typically ideal for fungal spores to thrive, as it is warm and moist. The skin will appear red, and possibly itchy, and may look like it is peeling. Other symptoms to be aware of are pustules (small fluid filled blisters) – which are more common in fungal infections that develop on other areas of the foot.
